Shul Records America is the first finding aid pointing to the location of synagogue record collections that have genealogical value. Examples are birth, marriage, death, circumcision, divorce, bar/bat mitzvah, member lists, bulletins, photos, eulogies, and more. This JewishGen.org resource needs your help to grow! So far, there are over 500 synagogue collections from over 50 repositories including the American Jewish Archives, American Jewish Historical Society, and Jewish Theological Seminary. These records are hidden away in so many different archives, historical societies, synagogue offices, and other places that we need your help at your repository to tell us what you have!
