Dear safranim, I want to alert you to a new blog post that has appeared on the Digital Yiddish Theater Project website (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://web.uwm.edu/yiddish-stage/wikidata-yiddish-theatre-posters-and-the-world__;!!KGKeukY!hc_Yy01kpe5-68IAOGa6ct2ZqOpv8CQK4nCK8tQNAy5Ac4yIYTbelZPhw18EBQ023JE$ ). This post describes how Wikidata (a new and increasingly popular technology for describing cultural heritage materials) can enable libraries, museums, and other cultural institutions to get their data and collections available, discoverable, and reusable on the web. Hopefully, the work that I briefly describe will encourage our colleagues who w ork in Judaica libraries and archives to experiment with Wikidata in describing their own unique collections. Sincerely, Heidi G. Lerner
