Hello colleagues,
Several local organizations are requesting home-sewn, non-medical grade face
masks from patterns such as
https://www.craftpassion.com/wp-json/mv-create/v1/creations/19/print.
I'm wondering: has anyone tried adapting kippot into face masks? In particular
I'm thinking about the drawers and baskets we have stuffed full of bar/bat
mitzvah souvenirs, especially the lined satiny-ones, that I think could get a
couple of tucks & elastic straps & be washed and ready to go. Has anyone tried
this or heard of people in your communities making them this way? Do you think
this could work?

Stay safe and healthy,
Julie
(And adding one more huge thank you to the Chicago conference planners-I
certainly hope their hard work will lay the groundwork for us all to gather
there at a future time.)
