Fred,
I remember him talking about how they were going to do an exhibit on Szyk
in the Jewish Museum in Berlin.
This was 10 years ago. I was just a student then yet he took his time to
sit and talk to me like a regular librarian. He was really enthusiastic
about Szyk.

The presenter was Irv Ungar, from the SF Bay Area.
The Magnes collection at UC Berkeley now has the Szyk material. There's an
article in the J Weekly on the gift.

It's quite an experience to see.

a real nice person presented at the AJL Conference about Szyk and the
hagaddah.Maybe others remember more.

and let everyone know it’s found a home in the Thomas Library at Wittenberg 
University.

I was glad to be able to share such a beautiful artifact of Judaica.
