I would not assume that the 3rd-5th graders will no longer want to have stories read to them. I am librarian at the Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor, and our3rd-5th graders are still VERY enthusiastic about listening to and discussing books that I read aloud. I share with them lots of picture books
