To my SSC Colleagues (and other interested parties): The New York Conference Program Committee needs our help.
They are looking for proposals specifically related to the interests of SSC Librarians for our next Annual Conference. Are you knowledgeable about a topic and can speak about it for 20-minutes? Have you had a workplace experience that you want to share with other librarians? Do you have a network of friends and colleagues who can each speak 20 minutes (or so) on similar topics, thereby creating a panel? If any of the above are true - we invite you to submit a proposal to the Conference Program Committee. If you do not have an idea in mind but are willing to coordinate speakers and write a proposal, let me know. I have a list of ideas I can share with you.
