Shalom AJL Members, At AJL's last conference in New York, the board voted to approve an official path to affiliation with other library associations, as well as with other Jewish organizations . Not only do we want to promote the sharing of information between organizations, but we want to emphasis the importance of libraries to other Jewish organizations and that AJL exists.
The main requirement would be to convey information of interest, such as upcoming conferences and webinars, to the affiliate, as well as forwarding similar information from the affiliate to our membership. In addition, AJL usually pays the affiliation fee of the other organization and you won't have to pay for a membership. If you are already a member of any of the organizations below, or would like to act as AJL's liaison to one of these organizations, please contact me at: ajladmana...@gmail.com and I will send you the affiliation form.
