a proposal to hand out at the meeting.

Hi Heidi and others,
You raise an excellent question regarding the practices of OCLC q.c.
It will be great to have David Whitehair on hand again this year and
ask him directly.
As you make the transition to OCLC, feel free to access the slides from
the presentation I gave at last year's conf
As long as we have the extra time and assigned room on Monday evening, we could
consider dedicating them to some special project for those who are interested,
e.g. a discussion of the immediate future of Hebrew references in authority

Daniel,
I would like to raise the problem of added title heading in cases

I realized this a few weeks ago (thank you, Heidi), I tried to change

Dear Jasmin,
Thanks for opening up the discussion on the implications of using the OCLC
Hebrew transliteration micro. Awareness of its limitations is especially
crucial to the RLIN Hebraica cataloging community that is now making the
transition to OCLC. We have much to learn.

Final letters in Hebrew have been replaced with non-final letters.
I have found many records in recent weeks where there are no otiyot sofiyot,
where every sofit is replaced by an ordinary
initial or medial form of the letter.
I thought these secular libraries had merely
