Hi, I've just very successfully tried:
https://github.com/artyom-tarasenko/qemu/tree/sun4v-for-upstream with the latest mainline built for sparc64/sun4v. The best thing about it is that it runs out of the box and doesn't need any modifications on our side. And it's quite fast. Artyom is now trying to upstream his branch into QEMU.
