e grep, > diff, etc... ? I've spent a lot of time in both environments, and IMO, if you want something that "just works" (i.e. feels like Emacs on *nix), go for the Cygwin port. It's well maintained, and with Cygwin/X in multiwindow mode, you'll feel like home. -- Jason
