Hi all,
I tried to avoid installing the entire texlive package, because, these days I
only work with narrowly defined guix environments.
Basically, I am doing `R CMD check pkgdir` on a package and after a while it
spews out this:
`!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file t1-zi4r-0): Font t1-zi4r-0 at
Hi all,
Opening this JSON in icecat happens without any error, the connection being
described as secure:
https://actorws.epa.gov/actorws/chemIdentifier/v01/resolve.json?identifier=MKXZASYAUGDDCJ-NJAFHUGGSA-N
However, doing the same thing with curl errors out:
$ curl
It substitutes anything textual on a page with boxes. I am running a hybrid
system CentOS 7/ Guix package manager.
guix --version returns this string:
guix (GNU Guix) 710f027765079db7e5a9ea31faedf42e8748600c!
I have the usual font- packages installed and other X11 apps have no such
problems
?
Cheers,

When installing packages, I often get warnings about adding variables to
.profile .
These warnings, however, get easily lost when installing bunch of stuff
automatically. Is there a way of extracting this info again? Should I grep
through package definitions?

Is it possible to install virtualbox guest additions in guix? It looks like one
of those things that expect files and libraries to be in certain places.
