difference between a viable cell and a vital cell?

Over all of my testing I found there are several factors to consider when
choosing paraffin:
1. Processor type
2. Tissue type
3. Use - embedding vs. processing
The processor type my dictate limitations on paraffin selection. For example we
were told not to use Paraplast Plus in a processor
Interesting that you are mixing the two.
Is that common practice out there?
