if you were to hire a person with BS that has already been trained in histology
but is not certified -
would they be hired at same rate as certified tech?
would they be expected to get certified?

We run the AFB on the Dako Artisan - recently it has been coming off with VERY

Would anyone be willing to share their process for pap stains - to include
times in all steps and brand of stain you are using. We are trying to clean up
some issues we are having.

2. Does this need to be in formalin before going on the processor - if so

is not a huge deal, but with new instrumentation I don't think we be cobbling
things already.

Sorry for the confusion - the cassettes lids are not coming off. The lid for
the rack which came with the new processor get off kilter during processing
allowing the cassettes to float up out of the rack.

Yes - we find the touch screen easy to use.
No problems have developed, but it is still very new.
