Is there any information available that would indicate the effect of
decolorizing an HE stained slide on subsequent IHC staining / antigenicity?
Thanks, Laurie

Hi Bernice,
We have the TMArrayer from Pathology Devices and we love it.
Easy to use, we had no problem with it since 3 years and built quite a lot
of TMAs.

You can decolorize an HE stain and use the decolorized section for IHC
procedure. René J.

Hello all,
I am searching for a weighing scale that will record multiple organ weights
during autopsy and then allow display of all data at the end of the session.
Ideally this would be a stand-alone unit rather than computer linked. Does
anyone have experience with this sort of equipment?
We also have the Grand Master. It's quite amazing, however we have had issues
with the punches occasionally. Also alignment issues which turned out to be
software related. Have you seen any of this Ashley??

Angie

I beg to differThe VIP 5 is capable of processing 300 cassettes. On
the first page of my VIP 5, Operating Manual (p. 1.1), it says it is
capable of handling 150-300 cassettes.

We have several Olympus BX40 and BX41 compound microscopes. Also, we offer

The slides must be pre-coated with poly-L-lisine or any other type adhesive,
suitable for IHC.
IHC is done usually for a several markers. Do you have a several HE slides?

Hello all,
I've done some research on Foxp3 and Geminin and I've seen a few antibodies
that look sufficient for IHC in FFPE tissues. My lab is currently looking into
purchasing these antibodies for a few different projects.
Does anyone on here use these two antibodies for IHC in FFPE tissues?
I suggest you run two positive controls. One control stained with HE the
decolorized. The other as usual.

I would think you would have to validate IHC for MOHS the same as FFPE, once
the validation process is done maybe controls would not be necessary.
