lab-made AMM is the best, there is *modified method *in ihcworld.com. I’m

list species cross-reactivities on their data sheets beyond the usual human

In my earlier trials years ago with CD68 (clone KP1), I didn't have success
using it on dog tissue. Am looking for a different clone that will

There is a CD31 Rat mono from BD that will work of 10% NBF fixed, sucrose

The same CD31 Rat mono from BD will also work on Zinc Fixative from BD

 Hi All
I am trying to section adult mouse intestine and skin using paraffin
embedding. However, when i section, the tissue is torn although the rest of
the paraffin looks perfect. Please suggest why this is happening. Also,
sometimes the skin sections fall off the slides when I perform in situ
hybridization. Any ideas how to prevent this?
Please help! i am a beginner in histology and dont' know what to do!
 regards
 Megha

 Hello Histonet -

Has anyone had any success staining with PCNA sc-7907 on frozen,

so far diluting down to 1:5000 hasn't helped at all. Any advice would be
 very much appreciated!

Has anyone seen granular, fine dot-like, cytoplasmic CD-31 staining in
tumorcells, that was thought to be false positive?

It looks like really specific staining, but my pathologist sent this case
 to
an expert, who couldn't reproduce this staining.

The expert is really an expert and his diagnosis is not to be bothered.

We stain with dako-ab on benchmark Ultra (CC1 mild, 32min plus amplifier,
 1:50).

 thank you

Imho because of the color, Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin is dark brown. Gill's

Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin.

I have a quick question regarding Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin and Gill's

2 stains. I am attempting to perform a Masson Trichrome stain and it
calls for Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin. This person in my lab says to just
use Gill's Hematoxylin in place of the Weigert's stain. Is this right?

 Thanks for your help
