Occupied Jerusalem: 18 April, 2002 (IAP News) - Jewish extremist groups in the West Bank have urged the Israeli government to expedite Israel's present internecine war on the Palestinian population.

"This is the most opportune time to annihilate them (the Palestinian people,) we firmly control the United States government, the Arabs are very week, and the Palestinians are effectively vanquished," said Ya'acov Meimad, a high-ranking official in the Israeli settlement council of "Judea, Samaria and Gaza," known by its Hebrew acronym as "Yesha."

Speaking during a meeting of the heads of the Yesha council , which took place at the settlement of Bracha near Nablus Wednesday, 17 April, Meimad said the Jewish people shouldn't be concerned about international reactions to "a Jewish offensive against the Palestinians."

"We must pay attention to the Torah, and as we all know there are no human rights for goyem (non-Jews) in the Torah. We must therefore deal with the Palestinians the same way Joshua the Prophet dealt with their ancestors."
