As there is no call stack, I doubt there's anything Valve can do with the debugger, however. I still have no information on how the crash can be caused, which is what I was really asking for suggestions on in the first place. Unfortunately, we don't have linux binaries at this time, so that's not an option - I produced some a couple of years ago, but clients got a "different class tables" message and were unable to connect (even though I printed them through a console command, and windows/linux gave identical output). Nick: Its a dedicated server crash, so afaik the nvidia/ati question is irrelevant?
