I don't know if that's 100% true these days. With the advances made in Xen
and other systems, and the ability to dedicate cores and network cards to
specific virtuals, I could see it working fine. Hell, at the very least it's
worth trying it out - that's what I plan on doing in a bit, see if these
I'd be worried Google would disable the ads anyway, because they don't quite
'get' how they're being served. Still, I should try this.

That's the thing about it, too. You could ask them to click on the MOTD as
well, which would violate Googles ToS and be really noticeable, or have an
ingame announcement ask people to please click on the ads in the MOTD -
which would work, but would also violate the ToS - though hard to catch
Why wouldn't it be a good idea? I've been running all of HLXCE on a
seperate server for a long time and never had any issues at all.
To the op - I'd probably run one SourceTV slot on the server and proxy it
out to another server for viewers - that many tv slots with a 24 person
server is rough
for me.

Actually, I'd be interested in this as well - especially if you can maintain
1000 server fps at all times. Seems like I haven't found a provider yet that
can do 1000fps solid beyond 12 players (I'm using AI atm). May just roll my
own server and do it that way.

Hey gang,
We're trying to troubleshoot an issue - is there an easy to restart a
server with no mods at all (Using MM/SM, etc) on our TF2 server, or do I
need to go and disable them all manually?

Remove metamod.vdf from orangebox\tf\addons and restart the server.
No metamod --- no sourcemod.
No sourcemod -- no sourcemod extensions or plugins
