Is there any way to connect to a lobby for steam group servers? I

Seems to be working on my end, server 2k8 32bit.
Though I shouldn't have to install a client side installation to run a
server.

I have people playing on my server, so I didn't get the change. I will try
them when they get off. Its kinda rude kicking people off in the middle of
the game. So I will wait, and let you know later.

Its only like ~8MB big. If you have Remote Desktop access, it shouldn't be
a problem.

Either try those files that welderfx posted, or just run Steam in the
backgrond. You don't need to login to steam, just minimize the login prompt
and use your stand alone server like usual.

It didn't download anything.
This is what I got:
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Checking/Installing 'Left 4 Dead binaries' version 2
Updating 'Left 4 Dead base' from version 2 to version 3
Checking/Installing 'left4dead win32 dedicated server' version 1
HLDS install
Still getting steam support library error with forced lan mode after update.
