Re: [hlds] DBlocker - Server Anti Cheat

2010-07-18 Thread AnAkIn .
There seem to be a server crash related to the client command db_status.
Until it's fixed, you can disable it by setting db_silent to 1. You'll see
logged players in DBlocker.log, in the cstrike, dod, or tf directory.

This is actually superior in terms of reliability. They both fail to detect
aimbots, which is pretty darn disappointing.

[hlds] The commands vmodenable 1 and vban 0 0 0

2010-07-18 Thread Thomas
After going through one of my servers Sourcemod command logs I came
across that a number of players executes those commands.

The log messages would look like:
07/18/10 13:39:10: Name180STEAM_0:0:123456 executes: vmodenable 1
07/18/10 13:39:10: Name180STEAM_0:0:123456 executes: vban 0 0 0
Some admins and some non-admins are reported to execute those. Yet, I
can't find them with cvarlist neither on my client or on the server.

It's a Counter-Strike Source server with:
Metamod v1.8.2
Sourcemod v1.3.4-dev
Zombiemod:Reloaded v3.0.0-b2

Does anyone have an idea what those commands do?

These are stock commands in the game, nothing to do with sourcemod.

vmodenable is the player client telling the server it supports microphone
communication.
I think vban is used for muting.
