Re: [hlds] Looking for a utility...

2010-09-01 Thread Nephyrin Zey
I wrote a hacky little python script that lets you send/receive rcon
that should work in win:

Pretty sure where I got it here: http://github.com/aiusepsi/SourceRcon/downloads

Does anyone on this list have a windows COMMAND LINE utility for sending rcon
commands to a server?

PLEASE, in the hope of minimizing spam replies, only reply if you DO.

Knock on wood, yesterdays 8/31 update seems have to addressed the nasty gremlin
which had plauged our win2k3 CSS server for the past few weeks. Finally!

It wasn't a very good weekend, everytime I checked in on the server is was
locked up. Can Valve even step up and comment on the issue? Anything? I'm also
seeing these CreateFragmentsFromFile errors now after all the updates last week.

Weekend lockups, they all seem centered around a person joining and a bot being
kicked:

[hlds] Counter-Strike: Source Beta Update

2010-09-01 Thread Jason Ruymen
A required update to Counter-Strike: Source is now available. The specific
changes include:

- Reinstated ammo cost.
- Added client ConVar cl_autobuyammo ( default 7 ) which determines how much
ammo to attempt to buy with guns.
1-7: The ammo buttons in the Buy menu are hidden.  ConCommands
buyammo1 and buyammo2 are still active.
0: Ammo is not automatically purchased and the ammo buttons in
the Buy menu are visible.  They now buy single ammo boxes.
- De_Inferno bug and exploit fixes.  See
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1406537 for details.
