For years linux has had issues with phys_constraints and entities touching them, whether it be players or other props, etc. Below are some links that have been public for quite some time.
This is mainly an issue in Garry's Mod, where the welds are frequent on build servers. This literally cripples the ability to host on linux at points, it drops sv variable (net_graph 5) into red, generally between 2-5, which just creates an unplayable experience within the game. Many, many users have tried debugging this themselves over the years, but we have yet to recieve a response from Valve on this matter, and it would be greatly appreciated if this would be acknowledged.
