William,
I used to have the same problem with my pinky finger hurting. I found
that putting those little pencil grippers on the pinky hook helped a
lot! I think they come in a package of 5, so I cut them all in half and
slide them over all of my keys and the pinky hook.
Hope this can help,
I have had a lot of hand therapy in my lifetime, and surgery on my
left hand. There are two things that keep me well now Yoga and a
rubber squeeze-ball, which I keep next to my computer nouse. When I
travel, I take a tennis ball. That way, if you lose it, no biggie.
Also makes a wierd MUTE!

So I will live with the pain. But I think in my case, I just need to widen
the pinky rest a little.

Joe
