Hello, all you folks interested and so knowledgable about these horns!!
I thank you all for the recent discussion concerning them, and have learned considerable info about this old horn I bought, recently. I now know it is not an Eroica! I also do not know what it really is!! It does not show any markings of a model name or identity of that sort, and it does say 'KING Instrument Co. Eastlake, Ohio' and there is no mention of Cleveland, of H. N. White, or anything else on the bell of it. The serial number is 515224 (which I find on the bottom portion of the second valve cylinder exterior) and it may be the only way to truly find out which model it really is. I regret that my Windows 98SE Internet Explorer is not working correctly, so I will not be able to access any web-page for the King/HN White instrument on-line records. If any of you would have the time or inclination to let me know what that list tells you about this serial number, I would be indebted to such a kind helper!! Thanks to you all!! I really enjoyed the repartee about the King horns!!
