I always liked festival over espeak. The voices just sound more real to me. I
find that shows where the host does all the mixing of the intro/outro music
sound the best as far as levels go. I don't really care my ears have been blown
out of the water a few times and a few more isn't going to

Actually, I think that the music is at a good level, but the show
content itself is much too quiet. As David Lee said, a bit of
post-production can be extremely helpful, and this can probably be
automated.

I like the idea of having the host announced, along with a simple
description of the ep, but every time I recommend an episode to
someone outside the HPR
I've never had a problem with the current setup, so I will vote to keep
everything as it is.
