Subject: Concurrent Data Structures (STL) Support as GSoC Project
Date: Tue, 6 Mar 2018 18:15:16 -0300
From: Mikael Mello <mikaelmme...@gmail.com>

Good evening,
I am a third year CS student at University of Brasilia, Brazil, and
while reading through STE||AR project ideas, supporting STL structures
really caught my attention.
It is a subject that I'm interested in but haven't had much experience
yet, only a few basic usages in an unfinished project.
However I am currently enrolled in the discipline of this very subject
in college, Concurrent Programming, classes started this week.
I'm sending this e-mail because I am interested in working on this and
would like to know what kind of experience do you expect from someone to
work on this, for now I don't have much but I can learn a lot (both for
college and to work on this) until the project starts.
It would be also useful to know, if I have a chance of working on it
this semester, how many hours per week you'd expect, because even though
some organizations require 40, others (including one that my friend
worked with) seem more flexible, allowing something near 30.
Thanks for the attention,
Mikael Mello
