Agile experience preferred. *Requirement:* We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with Web2.0 experience (Python/JavaScript/SQL) to join our 8 month old start-up. You should have solid Python and programming skills, and be proficient with HTML. You should understand both front-end and back-end web development. Other desired qualities are the ability to learn quickly, the ability to 'think outside the box', good communication skills, and a rock-solid work ethic. Our system back-end is written in entirely Python, utilizing Flask as our Web Framework. We utilize ORM to map to our MySQL database. If you are a PHP developer that knows some Python, you would be a perfect fit here. We utilize a version-control system for our codebase. Our integration testing and production platform is Virtualized using Amazon EC2/S3, so experience with virtualization is a plus, but not required. As a Software Engineer, you will work a DevOps role together with our company's Lead Technologist. Your job will be to collaboratively solve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment by: (1) writing code, (2) designing and integrating solutions, and (3) conducting technical research.
