*Title: Teradata Developer* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA * *Duration: 6 months* *Rate: DOE* *Job Description:* Principal Responsibilities: • Create solutions for large and complex data driven solutions • Reconciliation and test cases of developed solutions • Design, develop and support application solutions leveraging Teradata and Teradata Tools and Utilities • Quality functional specifications and design documents • Problem assessment and resolution in existing solutions • Monitoring and performance tuning • Participation in all phases of development lifecycle and post implementation support • Collaboration and knowledge sharing Communicate and leverage Teradata best practices • 7+ years of experience in with Teradata application Development • Strong knowledge of Teradata load utilities – Fast Load, Multi-Load, Fast Export, TPump, and BTEQ • Very Strong in SQL and Data Analysis, performance tuning and code reviews • Good verbal and written communication skills • Strong knowledge of Teradata stored procedures, macros and functions • Attention to detail and following standards and best practices • Ability to work with the business, understand business processes and deliver in an agile manner • 7+ years of SQL experience • 3+ years of Informatica or Talend experience • 2+ years of Tableau design and development • Ability to work in a virtual environment • Retail domain knowledge is preferable *Sarita D **|* Recruiter *|* HCL Global Systems, Inc.
