Job Description:

·         The requirement is for Policy Manager Developer extensive
experience in configuring and developing policy for configuration,
Logging, auditing, versioning, role based service usage, matrix
building, integrations with Akana Policy Manager. The candidate should
have strong knowledge and experience on policy management using Akana
policy manager.
The candidate should be able to work well within diverse team of
developers, leads, project managers, subject matter experts and be
able to perform design and development activities for banking systems.

Development duties will include (provide as much details as possible):

Design service composition and orchestration for DataPower web services

·         Build dashboard centralized collection of performance
metrics for analysis

·         Setting up and managing the lifecycle policies for services

·         Define and manage security, routing, reliability, mediation,
and other Operational Governance policies.

·         Use metrics and reports from the run-time system to validate
that running services comply with defined run-time policies.

·         Define the policies for the performance and usage in Akana
Policy Manager.

·         Configuring and Capture performance and usage metrics
according to policies.

·         Configuring the Contract Management to maintain the active
contract service consumer and the provider in conjunction with IBM
DataPower.

·         Design and configure Out of band DataPower log management in
Policy manager.

·         Manage the supply and demand equation for services with a
contract-based provisioning process for:

·         Capacity planning.

·         Version management.

·         Service deprecation.

·         Mapping relationships between services for impact and
exception analysis and reporting

·         Advice on and create best case practices that offer maximum
performance and scalability.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Ensure quality of deliverables.

·         Interface with other technical leads/developers to perform
design and code walkthroughs.

·         General knowledge of system development life cycle.

·         Experience working with multi-culture, distributed offshore
and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment.

Basic Technical Requirements
8-10 years of experience in developing and configuring policies in
Akana Policy Manager in conjunction with DataPower.

·         Experience working with Akana Policy Manager is desired

·         Strong Knowledge on Policy Management.

·         Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work
in a challenging position.

·         Work cross-functionally using agile methodology

Desirable Skills
Exposure to the banking industry.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience with DataPower monitoring tools such as IT CAM
