*Job Description:*
Client seeks a Network Infrastructure Security Lead to provide guidance and
support and assist other engineers/consultant in planning, designing and
deployment of Network Security Infrastructure Security for Service Provider
networks. The candidate must have in depth knowledge of network security in
various areas such as Security for Layer 2, L3 network environments, device
security used for offering services in service provider environments.
The right candidate will be responsible for will be responsible for the
planning, design and implementation support for Service Provider networks.
The ideal candidate will require a good understanding of telecom solutions
to address specific customer needs. The candidate must also have device
specific knowledge of best practices and good knowledge of OEM vendors
solutions from a router hardening perspective. Also work with OEM vendors
such as Arbor Networks, Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks and Alcatel-Lucent
etc., to provide solutions and operational support to the leading Telecom
Service Providers.  This job requires exceptional technical skills. Related
technical knowledge is crucial along with excellent communications is a key
requirement. The job also requires continuous up gradation of technology
skills. The right candidate must be willing to relocate to meet business
requirements of the company.

* Experience:*
The ideal candidate must have at least 8 – 10 years’ experience in a
telecom provider or OEM as a solution architect/lead with a broad
experience in telecommunication technologies. The candidate must have
experience in multivendor environment with rich experience in network
design, capacity planning, operations, network integrations, migrations,
network troubleshooting, service assurance & FCAPS.


*Certifications:*Candidates with CCIE-SP, JNCIE-S CCIE Security or
equivalent of other competitors is a welcome


*Operational responsibilities include the following:*1. Willing to work at
customer locations
2. Must be willing to travel.
3. Work with colleagues and other teams and OEMs to support, test, design
and report results
4. Must be able to understand project objectives, create test plans,
reports, high and low level designs
5. Must be able to create and assist in the certification of hardware and
software for migration
6. Must provide consulting and expertise to other subordinates as need be
7. Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to
translate them into technical requirements.
8. Be able to articulate solutions to key stake holders in detail.
9. Understand and articulate key technology and solutions of major OEM
vendors such as Cisco's Architectures, Juniper Networks & Alcatel-Lucent
etc.
10. Provide solutions, create presentations and document technical
solutions as needed.
11. Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for key stake
holders involved in the project.
12. Provide consultative support and mentor other less experienced Engineers



*Required Technical Skills:In depth skills in the following areas: *1. IPv4
Unicast and Multicast Technologies, NAT, PAT HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, BFD for
Static, BFD etc. ) Routing Protocols: Static, RIPv2, EIGRP, OSPFv2, ISIS,
IP-FRR, Multiprotocol BGP, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM
2. LAN Switching Technologies (Bridging, IGMP Snooping, PIM Snooping, STP,
RSTP, MST, REP etc.)
3. LAN Switching Technologies ( PaGP, 802.3ad &  L2PT)
4. MPLS Technologies ( LDP, L3 VPNs, CsC, Inter-AS, L3 Multicast VPNs,
Multi-VRF, VRF Aware NAT, VRF Aware DHCP, VRF Aware DNS, VRF Aware SNMP)
5. MPLS Technologies ( Directed LDP, L2 VPNs - P2P, P2MP, H-VPLS)
6. QOS Technologies (L2 and L3 ): Policing - 1R0C,1R2C, 2R3C, Shaping,
H-QOS, WRED
7. AAA : RADIUS and TACACS+, wireless LAN Security
8. Broadband Technologies ( PPPoE, PPPoAoE, IP Subscriber Awareness &
Service Selection, PCRF )
9. IPv6 Basics, IPv6 Routing Protocols and Related technologies- Tunneling,
CGN-NAT, 6RD & IPv6 Broadband
10. IPSec VPN Solutions: GETVPN and DMVPN


*Skills on Security technologies:*1) Router Hardening Features (e.g. CoPP,
MPP. uRPF, PBR)
2) Switch Security Features (e.g. anti-spoofing, port, STP, MacSec,
NDAC,NEAT)
3) Various versions of NetFlow
4) Wireless LAN Security
5) Network Segregation through VRF-aware technologies & VxLAN
6) VPN Solutions DMVPN and GETVPN
7) Content and Packet Filtering
8) QoS application for security
9) Load Balancing & Failover.
