Please do not send candidates who do not have Oracle RAC and ASM.* *Job Description: * * • Installation and administration of Red Hat Linux Operating System and other packages as needed for business applications • Must possesses a thorough understanding of storage device administration such as the addition/removal of disk • Ability to work with host based volume management systems such as Solaris ZFS or Linux Volume Manager • Must be familiar with the OS support for Oracle RAC and be able to configure Oracle ASM volumes in preparation for handover to database administrators • Perform system capacity planning and performance tuning • Ability to work closely with various infrastructure teams for installing and configuring new systems • Provide system support and troubleshooting expertise as needed • Maintain patch levels across multiple systems, as needed for security and policy compliance • Participation in 7x24 on-call rotation • Perform other duties and special projects as required ?
