Role : CBAP Certified Lead Business Analyst Location : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 12 months Interview : onsite • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) • ITIL v3 Foundation Training and/or Certification • Lean Six Sigma Training and/or Certification Resource Location (Zip Code) Business Analyst - Learning Management System The scope of work for this project includes the following: 1. Gather citywide requirements for a Learning Management System. 2. Develop an RFP for a Learning Management System and Professional Services to implement the system and train staff. 3. Select successful vendor. 4. Implement product. 5. Perform training and knowledge transfer. • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver written business and functional requirements. • Utilize industry recommended practices for requirements definition and management systems and methodologies. • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously • Work independently with business and technology personnel to define concepts and approach for analysis. • Strong analytical and business skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the Program Management Office through which requirements flow. Other Skills Desired • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a related field.
