*Job Title :* ETL Tester Location : Baltimore, MD (work can be performed remote) Duration : 9 Months EXt to 2 years Experience : Min 8+ Required Job Description This is an immediate need for an experienced DW Test Lead for a government customer. This work is remote/virtual however must be on shore due to Federal customer. Contract period of performance is for 2 more years. Teradata Test Lead experience required in a CMMi environment. Healthcare experience desired. Key Responsibilities • Leads testing activities for a 3 person testing team responsible for successful system/regression testing of ETL CRs and Trouble Tickets in the TST and INT environments. • Evaluates and improves testing methods and processes. • Executes testing of complex changes. • Creates Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation. • Creates and executes Test Cases for assigned CR/tickets. Assures proper test case coverage (traceability to requirements) and appropriate positive and negative testing is executed. Responsible for documenting all test cases, results and storing the documentation in SharePoint. • Works with the ETL developers/analysts as needed to successfully test the change. • Conducts work product review on INT testing and /participates in all required work product reviews for code/unit test and documentation reviews where identified as a reviewer. • Communicates risks and issues to the ETL lead and ETL PM. • Follow the Configuration Management plan and Change Control Procedures as required. • Provide estimates, dates and milestones to the ETL Project Manager for work being performed. • Facilitate resolution of issues. • Prepares project status reports. Qualifications • Senior/Lead tester experience. • Experience testing data warehouse ETL software changes. • Experience with Testing tools and techniques, including experience writing SQL queries in support of testing. • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. • Medicare Part B, Part A or private healthcare experience helpful, but not required. • Ability to work effectively in a team. • Experience working with clients and technicians. • Pro-active in seeking problem resolution. • Quick learn of new systems, tools, processes. • Familiarity with CMMi or other high-maturity practices. • Self-starter and able to deal with ambiguity.
