Project that the candidate will be walking into: Evaluate current Magento implementation Build remediation plan Work on and lead ongoing enhancements project Job description: Candidates will have extensive experience with Magento Implementations. Ideal candidates will exude confidence in their use of Magento as this will be the primary framework. Must have an acute eye for detail and experience working in small-midsize organizations is a plus. This role includes teaming up with various departments in the organization which will necessitate strong and effective communication. This individual having Magento Certification and experience with custom modules and plug-ins will be a big plus. Responsibilities: Customize and style the Magento front end Test, configure and install Magento Extensions Use customer programming to enhance company sites Configure Magento to work with business intelligence, order management and accounting systems Build, modify and maintain a development environment Should have strong experience developing websites with PHP, Zend, HTML(5), CSS, and JavaScript. Extending or customizing existing products/frameworks such as Magento Enterprise and WordPress Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing custom and core Magento code Work with UI/UX Designer on implementing site changes Collaborate with third party programmers, QAs, and consultants Create various project documentation in collaboration with other team members Consult directly with clients on a regular basis regarding progress, challenges, timelines and deliverables What You Need for this Position 7-10+ years developing Web sites, and back-end integration on LAMP stack Ecommerce development using Magento and experience with Zend Framework Experience in cross-platform development using PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js and other JS frameworks Experience extending or customizing existing products/frameworks such as Magento Enterprise.
