*Power BI Admin with Microstrategy and Business Objects* Minneapolis, MN 6+ Months Phone/Skype *Note: * This is not a development position. This is a senior level position that will be responsible for supporting and providing assistance around a BI platform transition from Microstrategy, to the Microsoft BI stack. Open to non-local, but will have to be senior and speak very well. The manager would like to see candidates with a stronger background in Microsoft BI since it is the platform direction they are moving to. *MANAGER NOTES: * Looking for an enterprise admin to support of 40% Microstrategy, 40% Power BI and 20% Business Objects. *Required:* Microsoft Power BI Microstrategy Admin. Business Objects XI 3.1 Administration. SOA Sharepoint 2013 Powere BI BA or BS Degree in Computer Science/MIS/IS. SAP Basis Administration Tomcat/IIS in conjunction with BI Toolsets. SAP BW/Hana in relationship to Business Intelligence toolsets used. Various security protocol standards. Knowledge of cloud architecture. *Main Responsibilities:* Provide Business Intelligence Administration Support in the following areas: • Assist IT Developers and business areas in the use of effective use of reporting tools with primary focus on Microsoft BI/Sharepoint 2013 and PowerBI, Microstrategy and Business Objects XI 3.1 • Provide direction on effective use of the BI toolsets which includes report writing, report standards, as well as troubleshooting problems with internal customers. • Provide consulting and basic training to business areas on BI toolsets (Microsoft BI/PowerBI/Microstrategy and Business Objects) • Administer security settings within the various BI toolsets to integrate with various portal technologies such as Salesforce and/or other portal technologies and collaborate with the IT security team to come up with strategies that follow best practices. • Knowledge of architecture, hardware and spec’ing out BI platforms for future use • Troubleshoot cases on behalf of customers with various vendors. • Liaising with vendors for upgrades and licensing and keep track of maintenance renewals • Attend conferences on BI toolsets, upgrades, changes, as deemed relevant • Understanding of cloud BI uses and pro’s and con’s of each in a BI strategy Regards *Sumit Kumar* Sr. Talent Acquisition *T: 248.565.4747 | Extn. 168* *skum...@tekshapers.com <skum...@tekshapers.com>* Fax : +1-248.254.7211 Tekshapers Inc. 1441 E.
