Job Title : SQL DBA with NoSQL (Mongo,
Cassandra)
Duration : 6 Months
Location : Irving, TX (Need Local or Nearby)
PROD DBA – 24x7 support
· Mostly *Night shifts* (9 PM – 6 AM Central), few day shifts
The first 4 weeks will be day shifts and the rest will be night
shifts.
· Weekend on call support
· *SQL Server Database Mirroring*
o Experience in fixing database mirroring issues
o Finding the bottleneck in database mirroring slowness
· Setting up & fine tuning database mirroring alerts
· *SQL Server Transaction replication*
o Experience in fixing Transaction replication issues
o Finding the bottleneck in transaction replication slowness
o Setting up & fine tuning SQL Transaction replication alerts
· Good knowledge of TSQL, writing stored procs, performance tuning
of stored procs
· Experience in SQL Server Reporting services
· Documenting PROD issues and steps to resolve
· Experience in any of the NoSQL (Mongo, Cassandra, memsql, elastic
search…) is a plus
