thanks, TOBi. The .pto looks fine. The .pto.mk is where there may be a hint
to what's going on.
I do not know how to generate the pto.mk, sorry.
Hugin generates it automatically in the same folder as

First you reverted the work I did to collect all tickets to one. So I'm asking
myself why should I triage tickets if you revert all changes with one email. I
have not the time to do the same task again and again.
Second now there are several open tickets which

Public bug reported:
After the merge of the gsoc201 panorama overview into the trunk, the
preview window crashes and takes Hugin down with it.
Error message as captured by OSXes debug system:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0008
Forgotten to mention: This also happened in the exact same manner during
gsoc2010 and wasn't solved at that time. It means that it's not
introduced by one of the other projects or by the trunk itself.

on my machine.

Is there something like a '--debug' switch/option for hugin to generate

Yes, I can dock the overview window by dragging it to the border of the
preview.
I can consistently reproduce the crash here in the manner described.
If I start hugin with overview_hidden=1, all works OK, until stitching. It
won't stitch. repeatedly asks for the file prefix. If I
