The "unsupported framebuffer" error was addressed in 2016.0.
Please test 2016.2 version and report back if it is fixed. If not reopen ticket
with current log.

I know this is experimental, but does that mean you don't want to know
whether it works or not? ;-)
The project was saved before stitching, but definitely not in the
location mentioned by the log but rather in my home directory.
The temp dir is empty in the prefs. Because of your remark, I have

The option "Use GPU stitching for remapping" has a note "(EXPERIMENTAL)"
see Preferences -> Programs -> Nona
BTW did you save the project file before attempting to stitch? Your log file
shows some kind of temp path for the project file (shown in the output options)

Yes, this is till valid although the version numbers have changed in the
mean time.
I am currently running Hugin 2013.0.0 built by Matthieu DESILE on Mac OS
X 10.8.5.
The Mac I'm using is still the same (begin 2009 24" model 3.06 GHz C2D,
NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 512 MB graphic, 8GB RAM).
