[Hugin-devs] [Bug 685877] Re: Push VIGRA changes to the right place

2012-08-21 Thread Christoph Spiel
Export-with-alpha just does not _compile_ anymore with the new Vigra-library.
No trivial fix in sight. Patch highly welcome.

Bug description:
Enblend embeds a modified version of the VIGRA 1.4 library. Can we
push the necessary changes to VIGRA's upstream and use the system
version rather than an embedded copy?

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 679983] Re: Enable drag-and-drop of picture files

2012-08-21 Thread zarl
Drag and drop as described above indeed doesn't work in the Assistant
tab on OS X.

However, it does work in the second (Images) tab: the list area accepts
dropping image files on it. So this is a (non intuitive) workaround.

So for the OS X build (whoever is willing and able to do that in the
future) we'd probably need an active area that accepts images to be
dropped on it.

Another valid approach would be to let the program icon accept image files to
be dropped on it:
- if application is closed or already open with a new, empty project - add
images
- if an open project already contains images ask user if new files should be
added to current project or save current pto and start new project with these
files.

Please note that there seems (or seemed) to be a bug when dragging directly
from within iPhoto into hugin:

Title:
  Enable drag-and-drop of picture files

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The first step in the hugin workflow is to open the files that you
  want to stitch.

I would like to be able to drag-and-drop them from the Finder instead
of selecting them in the Load files popup.

Both drag-and-drop to the Assistant tab and to the hugin icon in the
  dock should be functional.

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 1039226] Re: Feature request: nona -o PNG_m or nona -o JPEG_m

2012-08-21 Thread tmodes
Already implemented.

Running nona without parameters reports:
...
The following output formats (n option of panotools p script line)
 are supported:

JPG, TIFF, PNG : Single image formats without feathered blending:
  TIFF_m : multiple tiff files
TIFF_multilayer : Multilayer tiff files, readable by The Gimp 2.0
...

And was this so difficult to figure out?

  Feature request: nona -o PNG_m or nona -o JPEG_m

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Very simply, PNG or JPG format is required for web and other consumers
like 3D environment maps where TIFF is not supported.

  Is it difficult to support

  nona -o JPEG_m script.pto
  or
  nona -o PNG_m script.pto

for creating a series of JPEG or PNG images where

  nona -o TIFF_m script.pto

  is currently used?
