For me anyway, if the user has to go to tab #2 to drop photos, then the
magic of tab #1 is a bit broken. And IMO dropping files on the window is
much more graceful than the file open dialog. I know this isn't a huge
deal, but I think it matters.

I am receiving the same error. Have tried changing save file location,

I think I found the problem.
Hugin is not determining correctly the OS directory separator. He is
using '-' instead of '/'
I think that is the case because all the default file names that it
propose are wrong.

Definitely you can drag and drop photos onto the Assistant tab on Linux,
this must be a platform bug.

Title:
drag and drop images only works
I just tested the "Assistant" tab of the 2010.4.0 version for Mac. It
definitely doesn't accept drag and drop. The "1. Load images..." seems
to highlight when dragging images over it but still no image is loaded.
A quick workaround could be to simply rephrase to something like this:

This works here, though with a couple of bugs:
It isn't enough to select the control point in the list and click
delete, you have to have the mouse over the photos themselves as well.
Clicking on a point in the photo and hitting delete works as expected.
Deleting a point selects the next point in
The whole window is already a space the user can drop their images on,
though we could make it more obvious or provide something that looks
more like a drop target.

in the CP tab, when i'm looking at CP's between a pair of images, I want
to delete the bad ones. I might select the CP on the list below the

For example, if I want to re-order the list of CP's according to their
distance, I'd expect that clicking on "distance" will reorder the rows
according to the distance value (and toggle ascending or descending each
time you click the column header). this is quite standard OS b

"delete" key should remove images in the "images" tab if images are

Yes, there is a delete button on the screen, but the delete key on the
keyboard is always nice to have connected in these situations.

Public bug reported:
When selecting the "control points" tab for the first time in a project,
it starts with image 0 on both sides. This is almost certainly not
desired - the user probably wants to set control points (not vertical
lines). So it should start with image 0 on the left, and image 1 on
Public bug reported:
On the first tab "project assistant" there is a button to load images.
However it would be beneficial to have a small space allowing the user
to drag and drop the images onto this tab.
This is not a bug per se but I'd call it a UX issue :)
