I can't reproduce it. When right clicking the image under the mouse pointer is
also selected and the context menu is shown.
So is also the code for handling the mouse event in the control. Maybe the
context menu event is handled different by wxMac than for Windows or GTK.

Actually, it may not be the mode, but the order of clicking. It seems
that if a region of images is selected and then the context menu is
used, that the image that was under the mouse when the context menu was
brought up is NOT affected by the change, but the others are.
