Check in the preferences which setting is your default. There you can
add your own or edit an existing preset so that is available in the

Thanks! This --multirow feature seems to be used by default, and my
manual build seems to work quite well, though the new 2013.0 release
included in ubuntu 13.10 seems to have a bug somewhere that prevents
this feature from working correctly.

--prealigned cpfind parameters to make cpfind know which pictures are neighbors
and which are not?

This was discussed often on the mailing list. It is to difficult to cover all
possible cases in an easy GUI: left to right, right to left, top to bottom,
bottom to top, zig zag, snake left/right, different number of images per row
and so on.
Cpfind has already the --multirow and the --prealigned
