How do I follow this tutorial http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials /Mosaic-mode/en.shtml if there is no Optimizer tab??

In hugin 2013.0.0 the tabs for Optimizer and Exposure are not shown in the GUI. Additionally they are greyed out in the View menu. Luckily i still have the installer for 2012.0.0... I've googled for "greyed out" "optimiser" and "exposure" and at least found one post in a digital photography forum where this problem is mentioned too. So i'm not the only one...
