Thank you for letting me translate Hugin into Danish. I think this very interesting program deserves a translation into my language. Also, very nice that I am able to commit changes directly through Mercurial. I haven't worked with it before, but having worked with both CVS and SVN, it doesn't seem very foreign to me. Also, thanks for correcting any mistake I might make, formality or not. Actually, I realized -- only AFTER committing -- that you sorted the authors.txt file by surname, where I just put myself in the bottom of the file. I will correct that with my next commit, if you don't beat me to it. I understand and agree completely that the translation should not be included in its current state. It would only confuse more than do good. I don't expect to see it shipped until it is close to finished. And I am indeed very keen on completing it, as much as I am able to. That said, I don't think I will be able to complete it in a few days. I usually have an hour now and then, mostly in the evenings or weekends, so I think you should go on releasing RC3 without the Danish translation. I guess time will tell if it will be ready for RC4 (if there will be one), or if it will wait for the next release cycle. I fixed a small formality in the PO file. How keen are you to complete/publish this work? I ask because I am going to release the next release candidate (2011.2.0 RC3) in the next days. It is possible that this release candidate will be declared final and the question is whether a Danish translation should ship or not. I am not inclined to ship a 19%-complete initial translation because it raises expectations that are subsequently frustrated. A 50%-complete would make the decision more difficult and at 80%-complete I would vote to ship. If you tell me that it is a matter of days, I will wait for you to complete work on the Danish translation before releasing RC3. If it is a matter of weeks, it may go to RC4 if there will be a fourth release candidate to this cycle; or it will wait for the next release cycle to be branched out from default. No intention to put pressure on you, just to coordinate my actions with yours.
