According to the Enfuse_reference_manual on wiki.panotools.org :) it can be anything. = Sometimes Enfuse misses smoother edges with '--EdgeScale' and a little local contrast enhancement (LCE) helps. Set --EdgeScale=SCALE:LCE-SCALE:LCE-FACTOR. where LCE-SCALE and LCE-FACTOR work like the
