"any information you give, including names and numbers, may later be
used to harass, investigate or deport members of your community"

Gee, thanks, Mohammad, now we know that your "community" lovingly
embraces those who mean to harm OUR community, now that we see how you
people want to go on supporting "humanitarians" in your homelands, it is
only fair that from now on your "community" - and all of its individual
members, everywhere and at all times - must be supervised, closely
monitored, judged (literally and figuratively), and treated accordingly.
"Religion of peace" indeed; peace of the non-Muslims' graveyard.

National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom

Know Your Rights - Don't Talk to the FBI

You have the right to refuse to talk to any government agent (this
includes the INS and local police). Though you may feel you have nothing
to hide, any information you give, including names and numbers, may
later be used to harass, investigate or deport members of your
community.

You Have the Right Not to Open Your Door to the FBI.

The only time you must open your door to any government agent is when
they have a "warrant"-a piece of paper signed by a judge that has your
name or address on it. (Even if they have a warrant, you do not have to
answer any
questions.)

Tell the FBI to Talk to Your Lawyer.

Don't talk to the FBI unless you are required to, and then have a
criminal defense lawyer with you. If a government agent threatens you
with arrest or deportation, you should consult with a trustworthy
attorney immediately; then your attorney can call the FBI or INS if
necessary.

Why not Talk?

The FBI is looking for information to use against you, your family
and/or your community.
The FBI has a history of harassing and harming minority and immigrant
communities. Some people are spending a long time in jail because they
or their friends talked to the FBI.
Remember: it is a federal crime to lie to the FBI or other government
agent. FBI agents are trained to get you to make incomplete or
contradictory statements-which later can be used against you in court.
It is better to say nothing.
It is now against the law to knowingly give humanitarian, charitable aid
to certain foreign organization, many of them in the Middle East. You or
your friends could be deported, or if citizens, jailed 10 years for such
donations. The FBI is collecting information about such donations in
Arab, Muslim and other immigrant communities.
The FBI may share what you say with foreign governments and security
agents.
