Hi All...
This is a very positive step that should have happened a long time ago when it
was first proposed and discussed in a visioning discussion at an OLPC-SF
meeting many years ago. I hope we do it wisely, checking on which state's laws
of incorporation are most advantageous for us before committing to anything. I
look forward to seeing this happen soon!

To add to what Walter has said, we're also glad we had the chance to
work together all of these years! While it was tough for us to come to
the decision to terminate Sugar Lab's fiscal sponsorship agreement, we
know it's the right move for Sugar to have a new chapter. We believe
strongly in Sugar Labs' mission and look forward to seeing you succeed.
In short, we're really excited to help Sugar Labs get on its feet in a
new organization!
I'm available to make sure this happens as smoothly as possible and am
available on IRC, email or phone to answer any questions anyone has
about the process.
