Lizette thanks for the info on the LOGREC parms. I will rerun and have a look at the additional details. The connection is along our private fibre. We are using a Ciena CN2000 device at each end. The line is SONET and the connection from the mainframe to the DASD is FICON. Leon Schwering

Configuring Chanel extension using Ciena CN2000

We are using our own network with two Ciena CN2000's. The LICs are OC-48 LR-2 26dB, 1550 nm. The CIM is FC long range. Our network has a total 14 hops through a series of patch panels. We are getting section and line CV errors (547). Any ideas on what the impact the SONET CV errors might have
