I appreciate the responses from the list on this question.
I wanted to respond and perhaps get further clarification on a couple of
them:
Shmuel Metz suggested run a cross-zone comparison to see whether the
old copy has service not present in the new. The capability has been in
SMP/E for years.
I searched the archives, but didn't see this question discussed.
I'm wondering about advantages/disadvantages of using ServerPac versus
CBPDO for applying maintenance to an existing DB2 system. Our SysProg
uses ServerPac for everything, but I'm wondering if it's possible to get

Can anyone tell me what the ETCRC address space I see on our z/OS 1.7
system is for? There are varying numbers of these running and I can
find nothing in the z/OS documentation. They sometimes use a large

The context I'm running in is an Ant/Java script from the USS command

the SYSLOG:
STC01522 0281 IEF450I WASCUR12 STEP1 - ABEND=S000 U4038
REASON=0001 550
a UNITCOUNT greater than 1?
