Avner, If you have no RDS you do not need to run EDGJSRDS, except when you are using special keyword EXPDT values in JCL and want those to be continued to be used under rmm. The dates are extracted in EDGJ5LDR and merged with any RDS entries in EDGJSRDS. If you need to handled the special

Hi all, Our retention policy (in CA-1) is simple and based on two parameters - all data sets must be cataloged or their expdt gt today. Otherwise they are scratched. So, we don't use any RDS (no RDS file exists). One of the conversion steps from CA-1 to DFRMM deals with the RDS and creates
